　　ChristmasDayfallsonthetwenty-fifthofDecember.Itisaveryhappydayformanyboysandgirls.Beforethetermendsinsomeschools,thechildrenactanativityor“birth”play,showinghowJesuswasborninastable.

　　12月25日是圣誕節(jié)。對許多男孩和女孩來說，這天是個非常開心的日子。在某些學(xué)校，學(xué)期結(jié)束前，孩子們會表演有關(guān)(耶穌)誕生或出生的戲劇，用來(向大家)展示耶穌是如何在馬廄里出生的。

　　在12月24日這天，所有的小孩都很興奮。他們常常被(父母)早早地趕上床去睡覺，以便他們的父母能準(zhǔn)備好禮物。年幼一點(diǎn)的小孩認(rèn)為圣誕老人將從煙囪或壁爐里下來，所以他們掛起襪子，方便圣誕老人把禮物放進(jìn)去。有些貪心的人，為了能得到更多的禮物，甚至把枕套或布袋掛起來。晚一些時候，爸爸或媽媽將禮物放進(jìn)襪子，并把其他禮物放在(孩子們的)床邊。

　　圣誕節(jié)的早上，小孩們很早就醒來了。一些人甚至在凌晨兩點(diǎn)開燈，但大多數(shù)小孩會在六點(diǎn)醒來，孩子們在(大人們)準(zhǔn)備晚餐的時候玩耍。下午一點(diǎn)，圣誕大餐出爐了�；痣u或雞腿總是很快被搶光。孩子們尋找著屬于他們的圣誕布丁是為了確認(rèn)金幣是否有藏在里面。在剩余的時間里，(人們)便是玩游戲和吃食物直到最開心幸福的圣誕節(jié)結(jié)束。
