　　去年清明節(jié)，我回家拜訪我的祖父。清明節(jié)是民間的節(jié)日。過去，清明節(jié)被稱作植樹節(jié)。但是現(xiàn)在，中國人去往他們的家庭墓地去看那些新生的草木。除去雜草，清理垃圾，家人也會(huì)放一些事物和冥錢之類的東西。不像家庭的家用祭壇，在目的放置的東西通常是干燥、刺激性的食物。有一種理論認(rèn)為，既然一個(gè)墓穴旁邊有很多鬼魂，那么缺乏吸引力的食物將會(huì)被祖先們食用，而不是被陌生人奪走。

　　隨著時(shí)間的推移，這樣的生活慶祝成了祖先光榮的日子。繼承民間宗教，中國人認(rèn)為，死去的祖先的靈魂照顧著家人。供上一些事物和金錢可以讓靈魂感到開心，家里就會(huì)有得到好運(yùn)，有好收成或有更多的孩子。
