HAVING A PICNIC

??One day Bill and Dick had a plan to have a picnic; they decided to tell their mother about it. Their mother thought that it was a great idea, so, she then took a list of the things that she would need to bake and set off to work.

??First she baked a tray of apple tarts; second she baked a big simple cake, with frosting and whip cream on top. And chocolate sprinkles.

??When she was finished with these steps she put them in a glass box and tied it with ribbon; she packed them in the basket and went to buy some treats and candy. She found that there was but a few coppers in her purse, so she would have to find grandma for money.

??Grandma gave her a penny, and grandpa gave her three pennies. Her husband gave her two pennies, she saved them up; but it was still not enough. She went to ask for more, Bill gave her his lucky penny, and Dick gave her his two luck pennies. She added them up, and the sum of money was just enough to buy the treats and candy.

??She drove her car to the market, and got a big bag of cookies, some chocolate brownies; and some presents wrapped in boxes and wrapping paper. She went home and packed them up; she wrote the names of her kids on the presents, that way she would be able to set them apart.

She packed everything in the picnic basket. Now all that was missing is when shall they get ready and set off to eat their picnic. Bill suggested them go tomorrow, but mom said; “What if it rains, the weather teller reports that tomorrow has rain!” “How about today?” suggested Dick, “Well the weather is pretty sunny, so okay!”

They got everything they needed and set off, Dick loved the view and the food they packed, and they had a magnificent time; catching butterflies and smelling the flowers, playing with their pet dog Toby…

They had a great time: they finished the cake, the brownies, the candies, the gum, the cookies… When they went home, they repeated that they had the best day ever!
